Every 3x Leveraged ETP on the London Stock Exchange
The full 2026 list — single stocks, indices, commodities, tickers and ISINs. Plus how these things actually work, and the decay trap everyone underestimates.
NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE. Leveraged ETPs are high-risk products that can lose money fast. This is an informational list, not a recommendation.
01What is a 3x leveraged ETP?
A 3x leveraged ETP aims to deliver three times the daily return of its underlying asset. If Tesla rises 2% in a day, the 3x Tesla ETP aims for roughly +6% that day. If Tesla falls 2%, expect roughly −6%.
The word daily is doing all the heavy lifting. These products reset their leverage every single day, which means returns compound in ways that surprise people — the famous volatility decay (a.k.a. volatility drag). In a choppy, sideways market, a 3x ETP can lose money even if the underlying stock ends up flat. They are short-term trading instruments, not buy-and-hold investments.
02Who issues them?
On the London Stock Exchange, one issuer dominates: Leverage Shares — launched in 2017, now Europe's largest single-stock ETP provider with 200+ products. Nearly every 3x ETP below is theirs.
A few practical things before the list:
- Two currency lines. Most products trade in both USD and GBx (pence). Same product, different ticker per currency line.
- UCITS-eligible structures, and many are ISA/SIPP eligible — confirm with your own broker.
- Fees run higher than vanilla ETFs. Check the KID (Key Information Document) for exact costs.
- The lineup changes constantly. New products list every few months. Always verify on leverageshares.com before trading.

08The decay trap, in 30 seconds
Say a stock goes +10% one day, then −9.09% the next. It's back where it started: flat. But a 3x ETP went +30% then −27.27%:
while the stock went nowhere.
That's volatility decay, and it compounds every choppy week. The longer you hold, the more it bites. This is the single most important thing to understand before touching any product on this list.
09Checklist before you buy any 3x ETP
- Read the KID. Know the fee and the exact leverage mechanics.
- Pick the right currency line. USD vs GBx tickers — check which one your broker offers and mind the FX.
- Have an exit plan. These are not "set and forget" holdings.
- Position size like it can go to zero. Because in a sharp adverse move, it nearly can.
- Check the product still exists. The lineup changes; verify the ticker on the LSE or the issuer's site.
